Celebrate the heritage of Aliso Viejo with music, games and fun for the entire family during the annual Founder’s Day Fair from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 11.

Held at the rustic Aliso Viejo Ranch site at 100 Park Avenue (across from Aliso Viejo Middle School), Founder’s Day Fair features interactive historical and art exhibits, local entertainment, community booths, pony rides, a petting zoo, old-fashioned games and mechanical rides, inflatables, amusements and activities. The celebration culminates with a concert under the stars at 6 p.m. featuring “After-party,” a popular ’80s band pumping out fun dance tunes until 8 p.m.
Guests will enjoy snacks provided by a number of youth organizations and others along with gourmet food trucks serving up delectable burgers, hot dogs and waffles. The Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce will host a beer and wine saloon. Entry is free but nominal fees apply for food and activities.
This year’s theme – A Founder’s Fiesta – commemorates the “Golden Age of the California Rancho” when Don Juan Avila owned the land in this area.
