City of Aliso Viejo grateful to all who took part in historic Lip Dub Sunday |
| The city of Aliso Viejo is grateful to the residents, groups, organizations and businesses from all parts of this wonderful community who sang and danced through the streets of Aliso Viejo for the first-ever Lip Dub Sunday. The fun-filled Lip Dub was hosted and produced by PeopleStar FilmWorks, led by Aliso Viejo business owners Chip and Kim McAllister, winners of “The Amazing Race 5.” It was choreographed by Milo Levell, known for his work with Michael Jackson and other high-powered acts. Olympic gold medalist Kyla Ross even got into the groove with this community that danced down the streets of Aliso Viejo to the music of “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang and “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. “I cannot thank each and every participant enough for taking the time to make history in Aliso Viejo,” said Mayor Donald Garcia. “Everyone helped to make my idea for this phenomenal Lip Dub a reality, and the civic pride in this community was never more evident. I am grateful and honored to be a resident of this great city.” This incredible one-of-a-kind effort will be shown in conjunction with Garcia’s State of the City address on Oct. 13, which will be part of the city’s annual Founder’s Day Fair at the Aliso Viejo Ranch. The city also thanks all of the wonderful sponsors who made this community-building effort possible. Kelly Tokarski |
