To help residents with their parking needs, the city has tailored its street-sweeping schedule to provide open parking areas near each area being swept. The new schedule takes effect this month.
Street sweeping has long been an essential street maintenance activity that keeps Aliso Viejo streets clean and attractive by removing trash, leaves and sediment and preventing debris from entering the storm drains and ocean.
The city is in the process of posting new street-sweeping signs throughout the community. Residents should not park in the designated areas during the new street-sweeping schedule (available here). Parking restrictions will be enforced, with warnings issued during the first month.
