In honor of the 10th anniversary of its July 1, 2001 incorporation, the city of Aliso Viejo will host a 10-year Celebration Dinner and Birthday Bash on Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2.
The community events will celebrate this milestone with fun, food and entertainment at the Aliso Viejo Conference Center and Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center.
On July 1, the public is invited to the 10-year Celebration Dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Aliso Viejo Conference Center, 31 Santa Barbara. The luau-style affair will feature Polynesian-style food, drink and traditional and contemporary Hawaiian and Polynesian music with a live floor show by Le Polynesia Cultural Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $25 for ages 13 and over; $15 for children 12 and under.
Then on Saturday, July 2 from noon to 4 p.m., the community is invited to a Birthday Bash at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center, 29 Santa Barbara. The pool party will feature free activities and family games; contests; and more along with hot dogs, popcorn and ice cream. Admission is free.
The Aquatic and Conference centers are located next to the Aliso Viejo Country Club off Golf Drive and Glenwood.
