Community to recognize hometown Olympian Sunday |

Ross, an Aliso Viejo resident, is a member of the gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team known as the “Fierce Five.” She will be recognized by AVCA at 5:30 p.m. just before the concert starts. At 6:30 p.m., the city will then honor the young Olympian in a “never-before” city recognition folks won’t want to miss. The fun-filled summer concert will feature Stone Soul, which will rock the Town Center Amphitheater with ’60s Motown music until 7:30 p.m. Guests should bring chairs and blankets.
