Ocean Institute to Present 5th Annual Surfscience Teen Conference
DANA POINT, CA, The Ocean Institute will present the 5th Annual Surfscience Teen Conference on Saturday, October 13, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Conference is for 8th to 12th grade students with an interest in surf and ocean science, and finding out about related college and career paths. Teens will have the opportunity to:
· Meet researchers and students of Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego,
· Test oceanographic equipment used in surf zone experiments,
· Explore the Hydraulics Lab and learn about ongoing research projects and techniques.
