City Council Awards Contract
For Construction of Crown Valley
Community Park Teaching Pool
The City Council on Tuesday night awarded the construction contract to Hart Brothers Construction Inc. for the Crown Valley Community Park Teaching Pool Renovation Project. The new pool will be located at the site of the existing wader pool, which is currently only one foot deep and has traditionally been used by toddlers in the past. Due to its limited use, the wader pool is open to the public for only 8 to 10 weeks a year during the summer. The new teaching pool will be larger and vary in depth from 3 feet to 4.5 feet and will be used for swimming instruction, as well as exercise classes all year round.
