Ocean Devotion is a unique collection of work from Cove Gallery artists bringing to life the beauty and power of the ocean, and the diverse creatures that inhabit the planet’s last frontier.
Most importantly Ocean Devotion has been created as a partnership between Cove Gallery and Ocean Institute in Dana Point. The artists at Cove Gallery are proud to donate half the proceeds of sales of art in the Ocean Devotion exhibition to ArtSea, Ocean Institute’s innovative student program that blends art and science.

“Cove Gallery is delighted to be working with Ocean Institute and supporting their crucial work educating us all about the ocean. This exhibition, along with the gallery’s Young Artist Program with Laguna Beach High School, is part of Cove Gallery’s commitment to the community,” says gallery artist Steve Bernstein.
ArtSea, an innovative STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) program, enhances student learning and creativity, their knowledge of the ocean, and how to protect it for generations to come. ArtSea uses art to explore concepts such as ocean habitats, bioluminescence, and anatomy of marine creatures.
“Ocean Institute has been bringing people closer to the ocean for many years, and we are so pleased to partner with Cove Gallery on this project,” said Ocean Institute’s CEO, Dan Pingaro. “This exhibition offers a unique experience of exploring the fascinating relationship between art and the ocean.”
Ocean Devotion is the latest exhibition in Cove Gallery’s series focused on different themes and ideas, with the first exhibition, Unity, and the second exhibition, the Art of Nature, sharing the gallery’s artists’ perspectives on bringing us together, and the beauty and diversity of nature.
Cove Gallery artists showing their work in Ocean Devotion include Steve Bernstein, John Hall, Bill Knauer, Yuri Kuznetsov, Lawson, Peter McDonald, Joe McFaul, Maribeth McFaul, Lynn Marie, Kara Pewthers, Nancy Roux, Adriana Vukovic, and Rob Williams.
Ocean Devotion opens with a reception at Cove Gallery on Saturday, October 6, 2018, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and continues through to the end of November.
