School Site Council Parent Information
Crown Valley Elementary School is beginning another year with the California School Improvement Program (SIP). An essential element is our active School Site Council, which consists of an equal number of elected parents and school staff representatives. We currently need to fill three vacant School Site Council positions, which are two year terms.
The School Site Council has an on-going responsibility with the school administration, teachers, and other school personnel to review Crown Valley’s curriculum focus as outlined in the Single School Plan for Student Achievement (formerly called the School Based Coordinated Plan). The School Site Council also oversees the expenditures of categorical funding.
School Site Council meetings will be held 4 times per year; the first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 10. Subsequent meetings will be scheduled directly with the School Site Council participants.
If you are interested in participating on Crown Valley’s School Site Council, please complete the form below and return to the school office by Tuesday, October 25. You may also download a form from the CVES website.
