UPDATED CALENDAR
The 2010-11 school year calendar has been revised twice the starting of the school year. The calendars listed on the Crown Valley website (under the QUICK LINKS tab) is correct. Unfortunately, the calendar included in PTA Newsletter this month was created from a previous calendar and listed the incorrect dates for parent conferences. A CVES Quick Reference Calendar will be sent home with your child today, printed on bright blue paper.
By the way, the correct dates for Parent/Teacher Conferences are:

BACK TOP SCHOOL NIGHT
Our annual Back-to-School Night is Thursday, October 7. This evening is a valuable opportunity for you to meet your child’s teacher and to learn more about this year’s classes. Your child’s teacher will explain his/her goals for the class. Please remember that this is a parents only evening, no students please. This day is also an early dismissal day for our students.

Outdoor Science Camp will be serving burgers and selling raffle tickets at Back to School Night. Proceeds benefit Science Camp scholarships.
YMCA OFFERS CHILD CARE DURING BTSN
The Crown Valley YMCA is offering childcare during Back to School Night, from 6:00 -7:30. Flyers are available in the school office. The cost $10 per child ($5 if you complete the coupon on the flyer) and $5 per child for YMCA child care children. Please contact Louisa Villegas at 949-495-3776 for more information.
