I am proud to announce that Crown Valley Elementary School has recently partnered with the Ocean Institute in Dana Point to help raise funds for both the Institute and our school. For years, our students have attended the Ocean Institute’s award-winning field trip programs. Each year our 4th graders participate in the exciting maritime programs, learning early-California history and our primary classrooms are introduced to tide pools via the Oceans In Motion program. The organization also educates the community in marine science, outdoor education, and our local watersheds.
The Ocean Institute’s 6th Annual Laguna Beach Million Dollar Home Raffle is their largest fundraiser of the year. As part of our new partnership, the Ocean Institute will donate 10% back to us from tickets sold through Crown Valley Elementary School. Ticket purchasers will have the opportunity to win a beautiful Laguna Beach home or $1 million in cash. The home has a spectacular, whitewater ocean view and is a short walk to the beach. Tickets are $150 each. A maximum of 20,000 tickets will be sold.
In addition to the grand prize, there are over 100 cash and merchandise prizes including bonus drawings for multiple ticket purchasers and referrals. The 1st prize for the Multi-Ticket Drawing is a new Toyota Prius or $15,000 in cash; 1st prize for the Refer-A-Friend drawing is $10,000 cash + $10,000 for the referring friend!
HOW YOU CAN HELP: Purchase a ticket or spread the word to friends and family – we receive 10% of each ticket sold! The final deadline to purchase tickets is Wednesday, October 20th.
