There is a mandatory Schools for Schools meeting today and Thursday at lunch in room 916.

DHHS is participating in the 2nd Harvest Food Bank of Orange County drive. Bring canned goods to your 4th period class by tomorrow. The 4th period class with the most cans (excluding top ramen and canned tomato products) will receive an ice cream/pizza party.

Club 1 will be meeting at lunch tomorrow in room 891.

The Jewish club will be hosting its annual Hanukkah party at lunch in room 502 tomorrow. Even if you’re not Jewish, come and join in for food, games, pictures and more!

Anyone interested in joining the Boys and Girls Track team, please come to a meeting at lunch on Thursday at the stadium bleachers.

SOCSA presents Winter Choral Concert: Candlelit Holidays tomorrow evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students/senior citizens and are available on-line at SOCSArts.org or at the door.

The After School Tutorial and Homework Center is now open. Tutorials are on Mondays in room 404, Tuesdays and Thursdays in room 411, and Wednesdays in room 704 from 2:55 to 3:55 pm. This is a great opportunity to get help with homework and assignments. See Mr. Prinz, Mr. Sampson or Ms. Violette for more information.

Attention students and parents of students who took either the PLAN or the PSAT this past October at DHHS. The Teach Back Night for these two tests is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7 at 6:30 pm in the Porthole theater at DHHS. We will distribute the results and offer an explanation on how to interpret them. The program will last no more than an hour. If you are unable to attend, please have your student pick up the test results in the guidance office anytime after this program.

Grad Nite
Who: Dana Hills High School Class of 2009 –
All members in good standing of the Dana Hills Graduating Class of 2009 will be eligible to participate in a safe and sober graduation celebration adventure you will remember for the rest of your life. It is gonna be a blast!
What: 2009 Grad Nite Celebration –
Your 2009 Grad Nite committee is already hard at work making arrangements to bring you a nite of celebration worthy of all you will have accomplished in your four years at Dana Hills High School.

When: June 18th, 2009 –
Count on boarding the busses with your friends around 9:00 p.m. and partying all night long.

Where: Shhhhhhh. Its a Secret! We Can’t Tell!
