Join us as we search for whales, dolphin, sea lion and other exciting marine life! All of our cruises are narrated by our expert captains who will educate you on the abundant ocean life on our coast. Trips are all 2 hours long, plenty of time to discover the world that lies beneath! Remember that sightings of marine life are guaranteed!

Join Dana Wharf Whale Watching Five Hour Friday! This trip is a 5-hour, half day adventure on our fast , luxury vessel the Ocean Adventures Catamaran to search for whales of all kinds led by our all star crew Captain Frank Brennan, lead naturalist Jason Kunewa and photojournalist Carla Mitroff, SPECIAL GUESTS may include Captain Todd Mansur , Bernardo Alps , Alisa Schulman Janiger ,and many more you never know who may surprise you. Dana Point, in Orange County, CA is the hot spot for cetacean sightings as we’ve seen record breaking numbers of gray whales this season. Recent sightings include RARE Pilot Whales and Bryde’s whales. Risso’s dolphins, Fin whales, Blue whales, Humpback whales, bottlenose dolphin, common dolphin and Pacific white sided dolphin have also been seen. Also Mola molas eating Velella Velella (By the wind sailors). The ocean is teaming with wildlife! It’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what we’re going to find.

Check in time is 7:30 am. Parking is FREE. Please arrive early to get your parking permit from the office and park in the long term parking area.

These 9-hour local, coastal trips are currently fishing for bass, rockfish, and yellowtail.

1/2 Day Fishing
This 5-hour trip is perfect for families and fish locally off the coast.
Adults – $46; Seniors – $41; Children – $29
$49 per person. 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. This cruise runs Fridays and Sunday nights.
Join us for a 90-minute evening cruise aboard our luxury catamaran. In the spring and summer enjoy a evening of sunshine, cool ocean breezes and romantic views. In winter, take in stunning views of the beautifully lighted Dana Point Harbor. This cruise will feature a sampling of wines from The Organic Cellar which promotes organically grown and pesticide-free wines as well as a sample platter of cheese, crackers, fruits and nuts that compliment the wines. Our 63′ Ocean Adventure catamaran also features a full cash bar if you’d like to purchase some additional beverages. About The Vessel
Dana Wharf’s newest vessel is the 63′ catamaran, the Ocean Adventures, which comfortably holds up to 49 passengers. This luxury vessel was built exclusively for Dana Wharf and is the newest boat in the California whale watching business! This eco-friendly vessel is the future of whale watching and features high-tech viewing cameras mounted at the bow, a roomy viewing deck, and the smoothest ride on the water! You will LOVE this vessel!
Kids Free Fishing Clinic and Free Fishing Trip
Sundays at Noon ( no clinic or trip available on March 1 )
Dana Wharf Sportfishing invites all children to come to their dock side fishing clinic and learn hands on techniques on fishing from the experts. After the clinic Dana Wharf will be running a fishing trip from 12:45 – 5:15, adults are $46 plus license and equipment, children 12 and under fish for FREE with the purchase of one adult ticket at $46 per free child. Live Summer Music Cruise
Line up for this summer… Live Music Cruise breezes into town in MAY! Are you ready to party with Dana Wharf!?
Cruise aboard the 95-foot Dana Pride which has upper deck seating as well as inside seating in it’s large galley, making it one of the most comfortable rides on the water. The boat also features a full bar including wine, beer (domestic and imported), and mixed drinks. Sit back, relax and enjoy the live music as we cruise through Dana Point Harbor at sunset. You’ll be welcomed aboard with a complimentary glass of Dana Pride Punch!
