DJAMS ANNUAL TURKEY TROT
Students and parents are invited to participate in our annual Turkey Trot fundraiser next Thursday, November 18. This off-campus run raises money for our awesome Physical Education Department, promotes fitness, and it’s something fun and different for the kids! A $5 entry fee is required. Entry forms available from all P.E. teachers.

RECYCLE EVERY WEDNESDAY
Help our school and help the environment! Bring your plastic bottles and cans to DJAMS every Wednesday morning. ASB will be out in front of the school to collect. Students who drop off a bag of recycling before school will receive a Front-of-the-Line Pass for lunch!

All of our staff is driven to better the lives of teenagers and assist in their development into great young people!
TAB: The Teen Advisor Board is comprised of teens in the YMCA program who want to design a better YMCA that will continue to be the place where teens want to go. The TAB team gives input on monthly snack, supplies, games, and electronic purchases. The TAB team also helps plan events and daily activities. TAB meets monthly to contribute to the program. This is a great opportunity for your student to learn, practice leadership skills and is a good service learning project.
Character building: Middle school is a pivotal time in a student’s life. The YMCA prides itself on providing a valued based environment for their students. The YMCA Teen club continually works on developing your student’s character through our 6 pillars of respect, responsibility, caring, fairness, trustworthiness and citizenship.
