Book Fair is here!
December 6th – December 10th, 8:00am – 3:00 pm. We will have all the latest and most popular books along with any new titles. Books are a perfect gift to get all your loved ones for the holidays! Plus all of the money earned goes directly back to our school library and classrooms. This past year we were able to contribute over $1,000 in books and supplies directly to our classrooms with money earned at the Book Fair.
— Dads and Donuts on Wednesday December 8th, from 7:00-7:45 am.
Come bring your dad, uncle, older brother, or grandpa and shop the Book Fair while enjoying some yummy donuts and hot coffee. It’s a perfect way to start your day!!! (Dads can still visit the Book Fair after 7:45AM however; the students need to be in class)
— Holiday Open House, Thursday, December 9th, from 5:30-7:30 pm.
We will have holiday cookies, tasty treats, and cocoa while you shop the Book Fair! There will be raffle prizes throughout the night. So come start the holiday season with an evening of cookies, cocoa, and books!!!
Food Drive 12/13 – 12/17
DJAES PTA will be hosting a Food Drive for South County Outreach the week of December 13th. Barrels will be placed in front of the school to collect donations. The items most needed are: Pasta, Mac&Cheese, Rice, PB&J, Beef Stew, Chili, Beans, Hot/Cold Cereal, Canned Fruit/Veggies, Soups, Tomato Sauce, Spaghetti Sauce, Ravioli, Canned Tuna, Canned Tomatoes, Baked Beans, Crackers, Pork & Beans.
BMX Bike Show Friday December 17th 1:00pm
Congratulations DJAES students! As a reward for hitting our Fall Fundraising goal of raising $20,000, the BMX Bike Show will be performing on campus Friday December 17th at 1:00pm. Parents are more than welcome to come and watch this amazing show too. Please remember to park on the street, and sign in at the office.
