presents Pacific Symphony’s
FAMILY MUSICAL MORNINGS
| A Sherlock Holmes Halloween
Saturday, Oct. 25 at 10 & 11:30 a.m. Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall Alejandro Gutiérrez, conductor Be sure to attend theMusical Carnival (at 9 a.m., for those attending the 10 a.m. concert or at 12:15 p.m., for those attending the 11:30 a.m. concert), where kids may participate in a variety of hands-on activities, including meeting musicians (from the Symphony and the Youth Ensembles), playing a violin and a performance by Northwood High School Chamber Orchestra. |
While leading the orchestra, Assistant Conductor Alejandro Gutiérrez hears a mysterious violin haunting the concert hall. To find out who is behind this shadow sound (played by brilliant young artist Francisco Fullana, who recently won the Johannes Brahms International Violin Competition), he asks for assistance from his “good friends,” Sherlock Holmes and Watson, to get to the bottom of the case.
Be sure to join us for a morning of music, laughter and clue-finding fun in this comedic turn from the traditional Halloween fare.
