Summer has made its way to the sunny California coast and Dana Point Harbor is celebrating with a number of events and activities including live outdoor music, new tenants and more.
Dana Point Harbor will be hosting Live Music on The Wharf in the Hansen Courtyard on select Thursdays from July 20 – September 21 from 4 – 6 p.m. The lineup includes talent from local artists Lauren Black, Chloe DeMore and Anthony Small accompanied by Matt Samia. In collaboration with the American Red Cross, Dana Point Harbor will host a blood drive on Thursday, July 27 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors who donate between July 17 – 31 will receive an exclusive Shark Week t-shirt from Discovery while supplies last. Walk-ins will be welcome based on availability.
Dana Point Harbor Partners is also announcing two new tenants just in time for summer. Located next to Frisby Cellars and Jon’s Fish Market in the Hansen Courtyard, The Pretzelria opened on July 2 and offers freshly baked pretzel bites and other delicious snacks.located. Also new to the Harbor, The Doggie Barkery will open on August 1 with a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. The Doggie Barkery will be located in Mariner’s Village, near iHeartYoga, and will feature healthy treats for dogs and dog essentials from food to jerky.

Dana Point Harbor Partners, LLC (DPHP), a collaboration created to operate and redevelop Dana Point Harbor in a P-3 partnership with the County of Orange, is made up of three “best in class” real estate development firms, each specializing in a unique product type. Burnham Ward Properties is responsible for stewarding the harbor’s Commercial Core activities featuring the retail, restaurants, offices and other landside buildings, as well as all parkscape areas. Bellwether Financial Group guides the marina operations including the boat slips, boater facilities, dry boat storage, day-boat parking, guest slips, and launch ramp areas. R.D. Olson Development leads the hotel redevelopment and hospitality components of the harbor and currently operates the Dana Point Marina Inn.
The partnership is developing a master plan that connects the harbor’s landside and waterside to become a singular cohesive waterfront experience. United by a love of the water and dedicated to preserving Dana Point Harbor’s historical significance, the partnership is applying all areas of respective expertise to ensure every element of the harbor will be thoughtfully designed, redeveloped and managed to be reimagined into a world-class destination with historic roots and local charm.
