On Saturday, November 6th eleven young men from Trabuco Canyon and Dove Canyon will be honored as Eagle Scouts. The ceremony will be held at the Oakley building and is open to the public. The Court of Honor will highlight each scout and their individual contribution to the community and their work as a troop with their charter organization from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

WHY: 11 Boys from Troop 752 are being honored at the same time for receiving their Eagle Scout Award. The Charter Organization for this troop is the Live Oak Canyon Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints.
Parker Anderson: Trabuco Canyon, Mission Viejo High School, 17 years old
“Pitch in for Baseball” Coordinated a drive with the Tijeras Creek Little League to collect gentle used and new uniforms, bats, gloves, batting helmets, cleats and other items that were then sent to other countries that couldn’t afford these items.
Travis Corbin: Dove Canyon, Tesoro High School, 15 years old
“Robinson Ranch Elementary Logo Painting” Traced school logo onto large handball court and then painted to give the kids, faculty and parents a source of pride.
Wyatt Corbin: Dove Canyon, Tesoro High School, 15 years old
“Laura’s House School Supply Drive” Distributed flyers and collected school supplies for kits for Laura’s House, which is a home for victims of domestic violence.
Wesley Hartmann: Trabuco Canyon, Mission Viejo High School, 16 years old
“MV Logo” Mounted a 60′ x 60′ MV Logo made of Astroturf on the hillside of the Mission Viejo High School football stadium.
Matthew Hobbins: Trabuco Canyon, Mission Viejo High School, 16 years old
“Handball Wall Repair”: Organized volunteers to sand wood, repaint ball walls, repair and repaint logo/designs originally on walls at Trabuco Elementary School in Trabuco Canyon.
Michael Munton: Dove Canyon; Mission Viejo High School, 18 years old
“Handball Court Renovation” Organized over 40 volunteers to scrape off old paint, repair damaged wood, and repaint the handball court backboards at Robinson Elementary School in Trabuco Canyon.
Brandon Neilson: Trabuco Canyon, Mission Viejo High School, 15 years old
“Stenciled Chairs for Church” – Organized the stenciling of over 300 metal chairs belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Altisima building in the city of RSM with their name.
Ryan Taylor: Trabuco Canyon, Mission Viejo High School; 17 years old.
“Turf Lane Park Grass Project” Planted over 5,000 square feet of new grass sod for the City of Mission Viejo to provide a new park area for the neighboring homes around Turf Lane Park.
Spencer Taylor: Trabuco Canyon, Mission Viejo High School, 17 years old
“Painted the Scorekeeper’s Booths” Painted the scorekeeper’s booths for the Tijeras Creek Little League Canada Fields in the City of RSM.
Alex Waller: Dove Canyon, Mission Viejo High School, 16 years old
“Fence Painting Project” Organized the painting of wrought iron fencing at the Barbadanes Park for the City of Mission Viejo.
Miles Waller: Dove Canyon, Arizona State University (recent graduate of Mission Viejo High School), 17 years old
“Collected Food for Laura’s House” Organized the collection of food from the community of Robinson Ranch to help feed the residents of Laura’s House, a home for victims of domestic abuse. Enough was collected to feed 25 women and children for a week.
