On Easter Sunday, Members of Saddleback Valley Mission Viejo Elks Lodge #2444, together with their families and friends, gathered for Brunch in celebration of the day. With beautiful weather, the outdoor patio was the perfect place to enjoy the event. The music was provided by Roy Sutherland and Cate Murphy. It was a wonderful complement to the day.
Because of social distancing limitations, they were unable to hold the annual Easter egg hunt this year. Instead, each child received their own Easter basket filled with candy and toys.
Over 120 people enjoyed the delicious brunch, which included made-to-order omelets cooked by Exalted Ruler, Greg Morgan. The kitchen crew prepared fabulous food that included carved ham, eggs benedict, freshly made waffles, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, and more. Because of the hard-working buffet servers, the line moved quickly and the volunteer bartenders and servers made sure no one went thirsty. The patio looked very festive thanks to all the volunteers who helped put up the table decorations and Easter baskets together.
