Mission Viejo / Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge No. 2444 (“Elks Lodge”) has received a Certificate of Commendation from Joseph J. Russell, Colonel, Commanding Officer, Headquarters Battalion, 1ST Marine Division.
The certificate is for, “Exemplary performance while serving as support to the Marines, Sailors and family members of Headquarters Battalion.
Your dedication to making Mission Viejo Lake Day 2013 a success is recognized and highly commended. Your efforts and outpouring of support by the entire Mission Viejo community clearly demonstrate the Marine Corps motto: Semper Fidelis. You have been always faithful to your Marines, Sailors and families of Headquarters Battalion and we deeply appreciate the support that you have shown. The Mission Viejo / Saddleback Elks Lodge No. 2444, celebrating forty-three (43) years of service to the Saddleback Valley communities, is one of ten lodges in the Orange Coast District of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) whose headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois. The BPOE is a charitable organization with a 145 year history of giving, “Elks Care, Elks Share.”
