The Saddleback Valley Mission Viejo Elks Lodge #2444 is excited to present its newest 14 members that were initiated last week. The over 150-year-old Initiation Ceremony is open only to other members and encompasses the Orders’ four principles of Charity, Brotherly Love, Justice and Fidelity.
New members from Mission Viejo are Malissa Babe, Jack Barnes, Ruel Kimpo and Julie Paille. Mark Catellanos and Andrew Gillette reside in Lake Forest, San Clemente brings Michael Sandoval and Greg Hoffner. Completing the group is; Camela Roberts, Ladera Ranch, Stephen Shaughnessey, Rancho Santa Margarita, Debra Garnreiter, Laguna Hills, Victor Miller, Costa Mesa, Lisa Meszaros, Aliso Viejo and Carri Klabo from Tustin.
In other Elk news, the Saddleback Mission Viejo Lodge is looking for donations for the upcoming Back to School Backpack Drive to benefit underprivileged children in our local community. Please drop off any school supplies or backpacks that you would like to donate to the Lodge on August 21st, Noon – 3pm so that the volunteers can assemble the backpacks. Your donations are much appreciated!
The Mission Viejo/Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge #2444 is celebrating over 50 years of service to Saddleback Valley Communities. It is one of 8 lodges in the Orange Coast District of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) whose headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois.
