On Sunday August 17 from 1pm-2pm Festival of Arts visitors will be elevated to great culinary heights when Chef Kiel Anderson from Watermarc makes a visit to demonstrate his skills and share his flavors.

Chef Anderson is the latest local great to appear at the Festival as the popular “Art of Cooking” special event series continues.

An Orange County native, Anderson has worked in the food industry since he was fifteen. While in culinary school at the Art Institute of Los Angeles, Orange County, he worked at Marbella Country Club, Tail of the Whale and Opah Restaurant. He was later promoted to Chef de Cuisine, where he works with Marc Cohen, chef/owner of Watermarc. The restaurant is known for its vision to pair great food with great beverage. Chef Anderson brings this distinct perspective as he demonstrates for Festival visitors a dish of his choice.

Susan Davis, Director of Special Events, notes, “We’re honored to have Chef Kiel here as part of our Art of Cooking Series. His cuisine continues to delight visitors at Watermarc and we are especially excited to bring his culinary talents to the Festival of Arts.”

Foodies rejoice every Sunday from 1-2pm at the Festival of Arts’ “Art of Cooking” series. Every Sunday between July 13 and August 24, this special event series takes place in the Festival Art Center and is free with Festival admission.
