
The Division of Fine Arts and Media Technology is thrilled to present a free noon concert as part of their monthly Concert Hour with Laszlo Mezo on Thursday, January 29that 12 noon in Fine Arts 101.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, Laszlo Mezo gained national recognition as one of the top musicians of his generation. Mr. Mezo has forged a career as a soloist, recitalist, master teacher, and chamber musician.
He has performed extensively in Europe, Asia, and North and South America. Always eager to pass on his knowledge, Laszlo has conducted master classes in Japan, Brazil, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, and the United States.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Mezo is a member of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. He is a sought after soloist, and an active studio musician in Hollywood. He has played in many film scores, some most updated blockbusters include Ice Age, Life of Pi, Wolverine, and The Lone Ranger.
Saddleback College is located at 28000 Marguerite Parkway in Mission Viejo, just east of Interstate 5 at the Avery Parkway exit. Parking is available in Lot 12. Take Avery Parkway to Marguerite Parkway turn left to the third traffic light, which is Saddleback’s Marguerite entrance. Turn right into the campus and take the second left to Theatre Circle, turning right into Lot 12.
