In an effort to benefit the community, the Aliso Viejo Family Resource Center is teaming up with Doctor’s Ambulance to host a free cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) class on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The training is from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Family Resource Center at 23671 Via Iglesia. The course will also be taught in Spanish from 12:30 to 4 p.m.
The Heartsaver CPR/AED Adult, Child and Infant training will teach people critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.
Participants will receive an American Heart Association Student Workbook, and those who can demonstrate the necessary CPR skills will receive an American Heart Association Certification Card valid for two years.
