Free mammogram screenings for women 40 and older will be offered in Aliso Viejo on Saturday, November 19. The city is once again teaming up with the YWCA of North Orange County to offer the free service from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Iglesia Park Community Center at 24671 Via Iglesia.
Low-income or underinsured women 40 and older who have not been screened within the past year are eligible for a free mammogram. Appointments are required for the screenings, which typically take between 45 to 75 minutes. To make an appointment, call 714-871-4488 ext. 201 or 202.
This is the second straight year the city of Aliso Viejo is partnering with the YWCA to provide free mammograms. YWCA is a nonprofit community service organization that provides programs and services to women and girls.
