FURLOUGH DAYS REINSTATED:
Just a reminder that the Board of Trustees has reinstated two days that had previously been designated as furlough days for staff. The two days are: Thursday, February 17th and Friday, May 27th. Students WILL attend school on these days.
NEW COMPUTER LAB!!
Have you stopped in to take a peak at our brand new computer lab? If not, make sure you come by and see 37 sparkling new Dell computers! Thank you to our wonderful PTA for the months spent fundraising and to those parents who so generously donated to make this dream come true! We are so excited to kick off our new year with new computers!
VISION/HEARING SCREENINGS:
Vision and hearing screenings for students in grades K, 2 and 5 will take place Tuesday, January 4th.
OUR VERY OWN GIRL SCOUTS ARE HERE TO HELP!
Members of Canyon Vista Girl Scout Troop 848 will be at Aliso Viejo Community Park from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on December 20th and 21st to watch your children and even wrap your gifts! They will play with the children on the grass and playground and keep all little ones well-supervised! (There will be adult supervision!) You provide a sack lunch and water bottle…even bring your gifts that need to be wrapped! Enjoy a few hours of free time during these last hectic days before the holidays! Donations will gratefully be accepted and will help them get to San Francisco so they can “bridge” to the Cadet level in May, 2011.
