Celebrating the 40th anniversary on Dana Hills’ campus, the students of Dana Hills want to reach out to the public to help celebrate. The weekend festivities begin Friday, October 11, with the 7:00pm Homecoming game against cross-town rival Aliso Niguel.
Halftime, attendees will experience a psychedelic, mystifying “Blast to the Past” halftime show, put on by the students of Dana Hills. This student-driven, student-designed show will include amazing choreography of dance performances performed by nearly 800 hundred students, the crowning of a new Homecoming Queen, and a breathtaking firework finale.
The 40th anniversary feature of the homecoming halftime show will be the introduction of past queens in attendance.
Saturday morning, October 12, the first ever Dolphin Days Parade & Carnivalwill take place beginning at 10:00am. The parade begins at Blue Lantern and Stonehill and travels around the corner back to the main lot on the campus of Dana Hills where a carnival will take place from 11:00am until 10:00pm. The carnival is packed with fun rides for the whole family, various food trucks, and music throughout the day.
A week later, on Saturday, October 19, all Dana Hills students are invited to the Homecoming dance, starting at 7:30pm. Tickets start at $40 with an ASU card and $55 without.
The dolphins of Dana Hills have the honor of welcoming a world-famous DJ, DJ Kris P of N-Effect Productions, so students can look forward to an amazing night with great music, awesome lighting, and good dancing. This Homecoming may be looking back in time, but it will be remembered for years to come!
