Make a Wish

On Wednesday, Nov. 9, Hunter Steakhouse in Laguna Niguel will host a fundraiser benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. During lunch, dinner and happy hour, 15 percent of every bill will be donated to the Foundation to help grant wishes for children living in Orange County and the Inland Empire. Happy hour on that day will run from 2:30 p.m. to closing time. There will be deals on select appetizers, as well as $1 off well drinks and house wine, and $1 off draft beer.

Hunter Steakhouse recently opened in Laguna Niguel. There are two other locations in San Diego County, one in Mission Valley and one in Oceanside. Both restaurants have donated to Make-A-Wish in the past, making it an easy decision to do so at the new location as a way to connect with people and give back to the community.

“We want to continue our partnership with Make-A-Wish at our new location in Laguna Niguel to help the kids and families in this area,” said Hunter Steakhouse owner, Mike Schneider. “We’ve also had team members who have been personally touched by Make-A-Wish—it’s just close to home for us.”

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire grants more than 300 wishes each year to local kids who face life-threatening medical conditions. This chapter relies on the support of community fundraising efforts, like Hunter Steakhouse Charity Night, in order to make that happen.

Hunter Steakhouse is located at 30100 Town Center Drive, Suite Y-Z in Laguna Niguel. For more information on Hunter Steakhouse or this event, please contact the restaurant’s general manager Paul Caldaron at laguna@huntersteakhouse.com. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Founded in 1980 when a group of caring volunteers helped a young boy fulfill his dream of becoming a police officer, the Foundation is one of the world’s leading children’s charities, with 64 chapters in the United States and its territories. With the help of generous donors and nearly 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants a wish every 40 minutes and has granted more than 200,000 wishes in the United States since its inception.
