In an effort to reach more of the community and provide a more open government, the city of Aliso Viejo will televise City Council meetings beginning July 1

The council meetings will be televised on Cox Communications Channel 851 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99. Regular council meetings will broadcast live on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.

The council meetings will be rebroadcast at 7 p.m. on Wednesday of the following week and on Saturday at 9 a.m. In addition, the meetings will be web-streamed live over the Internet and archived videos will be available for viewing 24/7 at http://www.cityofalisoviejo.com.

Televised meetings will provide residents who are not able to attend City Council meetings with another convenient way to stay on top of community issues, projects and services.
