Christian Science Churches in Southern California have joined together to offer to the public a free talk addressing the issues of homelessness, unemployment, instability and other family issues, entitled, “Finding Home… ‘on earth as it is in heaven.’” The talk will be given at Voyagers Bible Church in Irvine (6000 Irvine Center Drive, next to Irvine Valley College) on Saturday, April 24th at 1pm by Ginny Luedeman, CSB, a Christian Science Practitioner and Teacher.
Mrs. Luedeman is an international speaker with the Christian Science Board of Lectureship(www.GinnyL.com). In the 60’s, she was a member of a rock band that played in concert with The Grateful Dead and Jimmy Hendrix, but a LSD overdose, caused her to turn to the study of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
This life-saving, life-changing event brought her to the public practice of spiritual, Christian healing for over 30 years. She is also married and currently raising two of her grandchildren, foster and adopted children. She has wonderful stories from raising a large diverse family and how prayer has provided practical healing solutions and guidance along the way. Come early for a musical presentation at 12:45 and refreshments will be served following the hour long talk. Child care is also provided.
This lecture is sponsored in part by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Laguna Niguel, who also sponsors talks requested by the community from the local jails to the local schools as an example.
