Since 1775, the United States Marine Corps has been our nation’s forward presence in the world‘s most chaotic and dangerous places.
Whether fighting wars or winning the peace, Marines serve their country and Corps with courage and commitment. Sometimes that service results in catastrophic injuries.
In 2004, the wives of USMC husbands stationed at Camp Pendleton saw a very urgent need for an organized response to the immediate as well as longer-term needs for the families of returning injured Marines.
Their tireless and prescient vision resulted in The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund.The IMSFF has been helping Marines, sailors, and their families cope with the unexpected financial hardship that occurs when family members drop everything to be at the bedside of their injured Marine.
Overwhelming numbers of families in need have come to ISMFF with their hardships, their perserverence, their hope.Thanks to you and events such as the Cox Community Golf Tournament, the Fund has been able to help these families and uphold the bedrock of the Marine philosophy: Taking Care of Our Own.
At the heart of Coto de Caza resides the private Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club offering golf, tennis, spa and social memberships. It is the first private 36-hole country club in Orange County and one of only three in metropolitan Southern California. Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club’s excellent reputation attracts not only resident members but also members from surrounding communities. The name Coto de Caza means, “Preserve of the Hunt” in Portuguese.
The community consists of a 44,000 square foot “craftsman style” architecture Clubhouse, two complete 18-hole golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Racquet Club and Aquatic Center. The North Course was named one of the nation’s top 25 golf courses built in 1987 by GOLF DIGEST MAGAZINE and is the top rated golf course in Orange County.

Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club just opened the doors to a brand new, state of the art Spa and Sports Club. The 7 million dollar, 13,000 square foot Club features the best cardio equipment has to offer, weights, professionally trained and qualified instructors, locker rooms featuring saunas, steam rooms and five spa treatment rooms . The Spa and Sports Club also houses a kids club as well as a cafe with a spa specific menu and Starbucks®.
