Fireworks Explode at 6 p.m. for Kids’ New Year’s Eve Celebration
LEGOLAND® California Throws Kids’ New Year’s Eve Party – San Diego’s earliest New Year’s Eve Celebration – perfect for the 6 p.m. newscast.
The New Year’s Eve festivities kick-off early at LEGOLANDwith a party that lets kids celebrate the ringing in of 2012 without missing their bedtime. Like the famous apple dropping in Times Square, Kids’ New Year’s Eve features live music, entertainers, a countdown of its own for a huge LEGO® brick that will be dropping 22-feet into 2012 and a spectacular fireworks display.
LEGOLAND is making the largest New Year’s Eve celebration for kids even bigger this year by adding two new musical acts to the lineup. Rising Star, Lyndsey Cannon, and Hip Hop artist, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, are joining in the fun with other featured bands Aaron Nigel Smith and the Fundamentals, Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, and Grammy nominee Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players for a lively concert that will have the whole family dancing as they ring in the New Year

6 p.m.: Times Square style count down and “ball drop” featuring a 6-foot-long LEGObrick and dazzling fireworks display and kids decked out in glow bracelets, fireworks viewing glasses and party hats
