Laguna Niguel Transit Study – Public workshops to be held

Date:

 Laguna Niguel Transit Study

In Autumn 2016, OCTA implemented public bus service cut-backs in and around Laguna Niguel.  To determine the impact of these service reductions the City has undertaken a local transit study to assess demand as well as identify possible service replacement options.

Public workshops will be held:

Friday, January 20, 2017 (6 pm)                                 Saturday, January 21, 2017 (11 am)

Laguna Niguel Sea Country Senior Center              Laguna Niguel City Hall

24602 Aliso Creek Road                                                 30111 Crown Valley Parkway

During each workshop further details regarding the study will be presented along with preliminary service/program concepts (e.g., fixed-route bus, dial-a-ride, local shuttle, etc).  Attendees will be invited to complete a short survey as well as provide input as to service/program preferences.

To learn more about this project visit: www.lagunanigueltransitstudy.com.  To speak with a City staffer, call Nasser Abbaszadeh (Director of Public Works) at 949-362-4337.
