Mission Viejo, CA – Realtor Ron Miller of the Associated Realtors of Mission Viejo presented a check to Exalted Ruler Jim Humphrey of Mission Viejo / Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge #2444 to help fund the Lodge’s annual Christmas party for the developmentally challenged residents of the Saddleback Valley. This Christmas party has been hosted by the Lodge for over thirty (30) years and will be held in early December. The generous donation was made possible by Associated Realtors owner Helene Chabin.
Upon accepting the donation, Elks Lodge Exalted Ruler Jim Humphrey said, “On behalf of the Lodge members and special kids, thanks for your generosity during these tough economic times. This charitable gift will help the Lodge provide an extra helping of joy to the Special Kids of Saddleback Valley at this year’s Christmas party.”
Lodge Leading Knight Pat Martino said, “Usually, the Elks raise and disperse charity funds. It is a great treat to have a company like Associated Realtors add their financial support to our efforts. We can now enhance the gifts provided to the Special kids at the party. With this gift, Associated Realtors has demonstrated a wonderful spirit of community involvement.”
The Mission Viejo / Saddleback Elks Lodge #2444 is one of ten lodges in the Orange Coast District of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) whose headquarters is in Chicago , Illinois . The BPOE is a charitable organization with a 141 year history of giving, “Elks Care, Elks Share.”
Associated Realtors has served Mission Viejo and the Saddleback Valley for over thirty three years, and is the oldest independently owned real estate company in Orange County. It provided its first charitable gift to the Elks in 2007.
