CARPOOL OPPORTUNITIES
To help connect Capo families with transportation/carpool needs, we will this year again be helping to publicize an electronic CARPOOL E-BULLETIN BOARD where we will post via listserve emails the names of families needing or offering carpool help. However, this is NOT at CVHS, CUSD or PTSA service (please see disclaimer at bottom**).
HOW TO POST:
If you want to publish a request on the CARPOOL E-BULLETIN BOARD, please do the following:
• Compose an email that contains information about where you live, when (times and days) you want to carpool, and your contact information. You do NOT have to include your phone number. (See some sample posts below.)
• Send your email to the volunteer Carpool Coordinator at this address: cvhscarpool@yahoo.com
DO NOT “REPLY” TO THIS LISTSERVE as it will not go through.
• Your information/request will be published on the Capo Carpool E-Bulletin Board, which is sent to all listserve recipients once per week.
• It is then your responsibility to directly contact the individual listed to determine if a carpool can be arranged.
• Again, remember that any info you submit will be shared and available to others including all listserve recipients.
ALL SUBMITTED INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED FOR ONE WEEK ONLY.
Please resend you post to cvhscarpool@yahoo.com by noon Friday if you would like it to run again the following week. Posts will NOT automatically be re-run; you must submit your post each week you want it to run.
**IMPORTANT: This carpool service is organized by volunteers and NOT affiliated with CUSD, CVHS or CVHS PTSA; these organizations are NOT responsible for any activities associated with this board.
The carpool notices posted on the CARPOOL E-BULLETIN BOARD are provided only as a service to CVHS families. No guarantee is offered or implied that the listed individuals are licensed to drive, have safe vehicles, insurance, or are otherwise suitable carpool partners.
If you choose to arrange a carpool with someone who has posted a notice here, YOU are responsible for determining whether the situation is likely to be safe and appropriate for your family members. Ask questions — a responsible driver should welcome your concerns and questions.
