Make plans for free swimming, entertainment May 1
With the countdown underway for the May 1 Opening Day of the 2010 season at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center, city officials are gearing up for an exciting day of free swimming, live entertainment and much more.
The Opening Season Pool Party at 29 Santa Barbara is from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 1.
The celebration includes free entry; fun-filled games and activities for all ages; Oasis Cafe specials; and the musical talents of 17-year-old Yazzie Jay, a rising Orange County star.
Seasonal and monthly passes are also available starting May 1 for residents who want to enjoy the facilities throughout the season. Offering fee-based swimming programs, activities, parties and more, the facility is a popular venue for families, kids, adults, groups and organizations alike.
The Aquatic Center is conveniently located near Aliso Creek Road and Glenwood Drive, next to the Aliso Viejo Conference Center.
