MARINERS DAY: Come to school dressed as some kind of Mariner on Friday! A Mariner is someone who sails on a ship – use your imagination! You could be a Sea Captain, Marine, Pirate, Viking…the choice is yours!
SNOW CONES: PTA will be selling Snow Cones after school on Friday for $1.00 each. Ours are made with real fruit juice!!

Early Bird Kindergarten: 7:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Late Owl Kindergarten: 9:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
K/1 Combination Kinders: 7:45 a.m. – 11:10 a.m.
Grades 1 – 5: 7:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Friday, November 5 Regular school day for K – 5 students

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: ECO FABULOUS REUSABLE BAGS! The PTA received so many requests for these stylish and more durable bags, that we’ve decided to offer Malcom families the opportunity to order out of the full Mixedbag Designs Catalog. Coming home with your child the week of October 25th is a catalog along with an order form. The deadline to submit your order is Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Please return your order form with payment to school; either by sending with your child or by placing your order in the Eco Fabulous Order Bin located in the school office. If paying by check, please remember to make your check payable to John Malcom PTA. As an added benefit, if you order through Malcom PTA, you will not be charged shipping/handling and applicable taxes. Since many of the items make great gifts, if you return your order by Wednesday, November 10, 2010, your items will be delivered in time for the holidays. RUMMAGE SALE! Malcom Elementary’s 2nd annual rummage sale is coming up at the beginning of December – a green flyer went home last week announcing that you will be able to drop off your rummage sale donations starting Tuesday, November 9th to a storage container next to the Science Lab. Now is the time to clean out our closets, toys etc while getting ready for the holidays!
