More than 150 South Orange County Chamber members, elected officials and local voters turned out last Thursday night to hear more than 20 candidates for statewide, countywide, Congressional, legislative and other races on the June 8 Primary Ballot.
Held at the Norman P. Murray Community Center in Mission Viejo, this event was generously underwritten by title sponsor AT&T and candidate sponsor Lon Horwitz.
Attendees heard from Steve Poizner, candidate for Governor, Chris Kelly, running for Attorney General, as well candidates for Congress, Assembly, Orange County Sheriff and many others.

We are excited to partner with Age Well Senior Services (formerly South County Senior Services) as hosts of this event. This local non-profit organization provides critical services and programs such as meals on wheels, transportation and health care services to low income South Orange County seniors since 1975.
Net proceeds from the event will also help fund scholarships to deserving South Orange County college students seeking careers in business.

Upcoming Chamber Meetings May 19
The Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee meeting takes place Wednesday, May 19 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Laguna Woods Community Center, 24351 El Toro Road in Laguna Woods. Join us as we discuss issues impacting South Orange County businesses with our legislative representatives from the federal, state, county and city levels.
Later that day, the Corporate Board of Directors for the South Orange County Regional Chamber meets from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the offices of the Santa Margarita Water District – 26111 Antonio Parkway in Las Flores.
