This past Christmas the Mission Viejo Saddleback Valley Elks adopted two veteran families and thru a grant from the Elks National Foundation made their holiday a whole lot better. Here is a note from one mother to Elk member Stephanie Bongartz who spearheaded the effort along with Elks Past Exalted Ruler Derek Randles:
Hi Stephanie,
I just want to say thank you and the Elks Lodge for providing an amazing Christmas for me and my children. My eldest daughter Bella has been bragging non-stop about her computer. This was her ultimate Xmas wish and to have it granted, is just mind-blowing for her. We can’t thank you all enough!
Ariana has been having endless tea parties. Brodie has been stomping around wherever he walks for his light up shoes. I was just overjoyed in being able to watch my kids open up so many of the amazing gifts you all provided. The clothes and shoes all fit perfectly. Thank you all for filling our hearts full of joy this Christmas. Happy Holidays from my family to yours.
