Mission Viejo will pay homage to healthcare workers during the Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park event from 4 to 8:30 pm Saturday, August 14 on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park.
Nurses, doctors and medical staff had an extraordinarily hard year dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. While many folks began working from home, healthcare workers across the country continued to work selflessly to help others. Healthcare personnel exposed themselves daily to the virus while staying committed to serving the community and saving lives.
The City wants to thank all healthcare workers for their strength, dedication, and courage – and invites them to attend this event for a special surprise tribute.
In addition to the tribute, the event will feature food trucks; games; photo opportunities; live music; and more.
