Need Childcare for School Closure Days?
Carl Hankey Elementary School will be closed on the following dates: 11/1, 11/11, 11/12 and 11/22-11/26.
The Carl Hankey Y will be open for full days of childcare on the November school closure days of 11/1, 11/11, 11/12, 11/22, 11/23 and 11/24! On these non-school days we¡¦re open from 6:45 to 6:00 pm! All you have to do to reserve a space for these school closure days is give us a call or go to our website (http://www.ymcaoc.org/child_care/forms.php) to fill out our registration forms.
The Y at Carl Hankey School also offers drop-in rates. Space for drop in care needs to be reserved with the Director at least one day before care is needed. Rates for regular school days, ace Wednesdays, minimum days, and full days are available; we offer drop in rates for as low as $30 a day and we are open Rain or Shine. The Y is more than just childcare; we provide a safe, fun place to learn and grow. We offer several Afterschool program options: 2, 3, and 5 days of care. We also offer financial assistance for qualifying families. The Carl Hankey Y Afterschool Program offers homework support from credentialed teachers, sports and outside group games, art, reading and writing enrichment, service learning projects, and Y-Clubs such as cooking, origami and more.
