| Kyla Ross, a member of the “Fierce Five” gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team at the 2012 Summer Olympics will take part in the city of Aliso Viejo’s Lip Dub on Sunday. Ross, an Aliso Viejo resident, recently returned to town and will join an expected 1,300 people who will sing and dance down the streets of Aliso Viejo to the music of “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang and “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. This first citywide Lip Dub is hosted and produced by PeopleStar FilmWorks, led by Aliso Viejo business owners Chip and Kim McAllister, winners of “The Amazing Race 5.” The incredible one-of-a-kind effort will put Aliso Viejo on the map even more and showcase the great sense of community here. Aliso Viejo’s Lip Dub will be modeled after the widely successful Grand Rapids Lip Dub, a combination of lip-sync, dance routine, and parade that became a mega online success. On Sunday, participants will perform along the streets of Journey, City Lights Drive and Pacific Park to the Aliso Viejo Town Center fountain from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to take part in this historical and amazing musical event. World-class choreographer Milo Levell, known for his work with Michael Jackson and other high-powered acts, will choreograph the community. Participants involved in the Lip Dub along Journey should enter onto Journey from Aliso Creek Road. Parking will be permitted on both sides of the street up to the road closures located at the Orange County Sheriff’s substation and south of the Orange County Fire Authority Fire Station 57. Participants involved in the Lip Dub in Town Center should enter off Aliso Creek Road or Enterprise. Parking will be allowed in Town Center with the exception of the southwest portion between City Lights Drive and Edwards Theatre.
