PARKING LOT COURTESY
Thank you for being courteous to all drivers (and pedestrians) as we dismiss our 1300 students each day. Please remember that some of our students and parents need to access and use the handicapped parking spaced near the front of the lot. Those drivers need to be able to enter and exit the spaces freely. Please allow them access to freely enter and exit when necessary. Thank you for your awareness and cooperation on this matter.
API SCORE UP AGAIN!
Dear Niguel Hills Middle School Parents, Students and Teachers:
It is with great pride that I report to you that the official Academic Performance Index (API) for Niguel Hills Middle School, released late Monday and based upon the Spring 2010 California Standards Tests (CST), increased to 878, which represents a TWENTY THREE point gain over the previous year’s score. Congratulations to all of you!! This follows several years of steady increases, including a gain of 26 points last year.
This gain is a direct reflection of the continued hard work of our great students, involved parents, dedicated teachers and hardworking staff. While standardized test scores are only one indicator of student success, we certainly have ample reason to be proud of these scores. Thank you for your support.
