The Trojan Club of Orange County (TCOC) will host its next dinner and speaker event on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, featuring USC football former greats Brad Budde, Mike Salmon and Anthony Daye at the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Ana (MacArthur and the 55 Freeway) at 6:00 p.m.
Brad Budde became USC’s first recipient of the coveted Lombardi Award, given to the nation’s top college offensive lineman in 1979 and was a unanimous All-American as a senior. A four-year starter at Troy, he was the first freshman to start a USC season opener since World War II. Brad followed his father, All-Pro Ed Budde, to the Kansas City Chiefs as their first-round pick in the 1980 NFL Draft and played for the Chiefs through 1987. Budde was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1990.
Mike Salmon was a four-year letterman as a defensive back for USC. He led the team in interceptions and was the inspirational team leader in 1990. Anthony Daye was a defensive tackle for the Trojans in 2002.
For dinner reservations, call (714) 921-1101 or visit www.TCOC.us for online registration and additional information. Individual tickets are $49 for USC support group members and $54 for all others.
TCOC membership and meetings are open to the more than 30,000 Trojan alumni living in Orange County as well as extended members of the Trojan Family and their friends.
