Ocean Institute Hosts Electronics Recycling Event
DANA POINT, Calif. – The Ocean Institute will be hosting a free electronics recycling event on Earth Day, Sunday, April 22, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Institute will be collecting a wide range of obsolete electronic equipment, including:
- Desktop and laptop computers (PC & Apple), servers (towers and others), PC networking system or devices
- Cells phones, cell phone and USP batteries, iPhones, iPads, iPods (any type or model)
- Computer monitors (CRT), LCD & LED monitors, televisions, plasma TVs, LCD TVs and remote controls
- Telephones (wireless and wired), answering machines, adapters, external memory hard drive (laptops and/or PC), cable boxes, calculators, cameras, MP3s, CD players, modems, routers, DVD players, VCRs, receivers/amplifiers, radios, game systems, A/V systems, microwaves, printers, fax machines, keyboards, mouse, speakers, flash memory, stereos, small electrical motors and any type of wire.
We accept any small electronics that can be plugged into a wall outlet or work with batteries. No Alkaline batteries (AA, AAA, 9V), house wares, bottles, cans or boxes.
