Help Keep Our Beaches Clean!

Dana Point, CALIF., August 18, 2009 – The Ocean Institute is pleased to support the State of California’s Coastal Cleanup Day (visit http://www.coastal.ca.gov/publiced/ccd/ccd.html) on Saturday, September 19. Friends of the Institute are invited to come to the Dana Point Marine Protected Area (behind the Institute, 24200 Dana Point Harbor Drive, Dana Point), 9 a.m. – noon, to clear trash from the area. The Institute will supply disposable gloves and other cleanup materials, or feel free to bring your own. The terrain in the area is rough, so please wear closed-toed and closed-heeled shoes.
