Deadline for Ocean Institute’s Million Dollar Home Raffle Just Three Weeks Away
California’s Most Successful Home Raffle Nears Completion
Laguna Home or $1 Million to be Awarded 7th Year In a Row
Just three weeks remain until the final deadline for the Laguna Beach Million Dollar Home Raffle, which benefits the Ocean Institute. Ticket buyers will have the chance to win a beautiful Laguna Beach home or the alternate prize of $1 million in cash. The home has whitewater ocean views and is a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, shops and restaurants.
The final deadline to purchase tickets is Wednesday, October 19; unless tickets sell out early this year.
The Laguna Beach Million Dollar Home Raffle is the most successful home raffle in California, awarding a home or $1 million every year since its’ beginning in 2005. Last year, it was the only home raffle in Southern California to award the Grand Prize as advertised. Andy Martin & Patricia Coleman (father & daughter) of Yorba Linda were the happy winners and took home the Grand Prize of $1 million cash.
Tickets are $150 and only 20,000 tickets will be sold. In addition to the Grand Prize drawing held on Saturday, November 5 at noon, there will be prizes awarded in the Multi Ticket Drawing and Refer a Friend Drawing. For those who purchase more than one ticket, top prizes include a Toyota Prius or $12,500, a luxury vacation to Galapagos, Fiji or Machu Picchu or $10,000, South Coast Plaza shopping sprees and escapes to the Montage Laguna resort. For those ticketholders who refer a friend, who then buy a ticket, top prize is $10,000 EACH, plus Apple iPads, Montage Laguna retreats and over $20,000 in South Coast Plaza certificates. When the winning ticket is pulled, both the friend and the referred friend win!
“The home raffle has produced hundreds of happy winners in the past six years, and has raised crucial funding that benefits the more than 100,000 school children whom the Ocean Institute serves every year,” commented Greg Goggin, developer of the raffle.
