OCTA Announces 2009 YouTube Video Contest for Youths
OCTA announced its 2009 YouTube Video Contest for youths between the ages of 7 to 18. To enter the contest, participants must have a valid 2009 OCTA Youth Summer Bus Pass, receive a parent or guardian’s permission to enter, and complete and submit an entry form. It is okay for a parent or guardian to help make the video.
The object of the contest is for participants to make a video about what they did with their OCTA Youth Summer Bus Pass. The video can be about where they were able to go, do, or how the pass made their summer better. Videos can be in testimonial format and can be shot in a specific location. Be sure to obtain permission to film if filming at a specific location.
Participants can begin posting videos on June 2, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. The deadline to post a video is August 31, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. Only one entry per youth may be submitted. The grand prize includes four round trip tickets to Catalina, four tickets to the Aquarium of the Pacific, six hours of unlimited attractions at Boomers! for the winner and up to seven friends, and four tickets to Knott’s Berry Farm.
For contest rules and information, visit the OCTA’s website at www.octa.net/contest.
