Olympica’s Level 4 gymnastics team competed in Aliso Viejo this past weekend at the Halloween Time Gymnastics Meet.
San Clemente’s Teagan Blandford was the bars champion, scoring 9.625 in the 6-8 year old division. Teagan also earned the bronze in the All Around with a total score of 37.075. Teammate Emmerson Gerhart of Mission Viejo earned the bronze on bars with a 9.250.
Nine-year-old, Sasha PourTeimour of Mission Viejo was the All Around champion for the second time this season, scoring an impressive 37.475. She also took the bronze on beam (9.575) and gold on vault (9.225). In the ten-year-old division, Reese Larson of Aliso Viejo took the bronze in the All Around, scoring a superb 37.400. Reese also took the silver on floor (9.425), silver on vault (9.025), and bronze on bars (9.425). The Olympica Level 4 gymnasts also took home the 2nd place team award.
In just a few short weeks, these girls will conclude their season, competing in the Southern California State Championships in San Marcos.
