PACIFIC SYMPHONY’S 2019-20 POPS SEASON ANNOUNCED

“Christmas with Marie Osmond” and The Texas Tenors

Megawatt stars light up the stage for Pacific Symphony’s highly anticipated 2019-20 Pops series featuring seven not-to-be-missed concerts that include romance, Broadway, nostalgia, festive holiday cheer, classic rock and favorite film music—all enhanced by the “Hollywood” sound of the orchestra. Led by Pops Principal Conductor Richard Kaufman, the season blasts off Nov. 1 and 2 with “An Evening of Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber” featuring smash hits penned by two of Broadway’s most acclaimed composers. The stellar Pops season continues with “Christmas with Marie Osmond” (Dec. 20-21), “Valentine’s Day with Chris Botti” (Feb. 14-15, 2020), “A Night at the Copa” (March 13-14, 2020), “The Texas Tenors” (April 3-4, 2020), “Music of the Rolling Stones” (May 1-2, 2020), and culminating in a grand finale presenting two blockbuster film scores on the same program, “Star Wars vs. Star Trek” (June 5-6).

All concerts begin at 8 p.m. and take place in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, 615 Town Hall, Costa Mesa, Seven-concert subscriptions for Pops start at $245; single tickets for all concerts start at $35 (on sale Aug. 18).
